Majestic Morning: Swarthmore Amphitheater

My anticipation to see the Amphitheater was heightened even more as I reached the campus of Swarthmore College. I had heard about the amphitheater before and imagined how majestic it would be to see it physically, and indeed it was, if not more! The photos seriously don't do it any justice. What was interesting though was how the covered chairs (from the weekend's graduation ceremony, which makes me want to repeat my graduation to have it in such a wonderful place!) added a sense of eeriness that didn't distract from the ambiance at all. The amphitheater just reminded me how my classmates and I would beg our high school teachers to have class outside.

The campus was so beautifully taken care of by student volunteers and every corner had so much to explore. This place is simply enchanting, magical, and filled with hidden ideas. I'm keeping this post short and sweet to allow the photos to speak for themselves.

It is Allah Who has made for you the earth as a resting place, and the sky as a canopy, and has given you shape and made your shapes beautiful and has provided for you sustenance.

The campus is about a thirty minute drive from Philadelphia. To learn more about the Scott College Arboretum you can visit their site here.  Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful Monday!
